High quality premixed surface crack filler
Vetonit Crack Filler is composed of a fine filler, high quality white cement, bonding chemicals and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on site, which requires only addition of clean water to produce cohesive mix. Vetonit Crack Filler is a high quality product for repairing static cracks and provides very smooth surface finish for subsequent application of paints, decorative coatings & wallpapers. Vetonit Crack Filler can be applied in crack thickness from scrape coat to 4 mm.

Original sealed bags of Vetonit Crack Filler has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 25ºC.
Mixing
For mechanical mixing add to the mixing container 9.5-11.0 litres of water for each 25 Kg bag of Vetonit Crack Filler or 0.57-0.66 litres/1.5 kg small bag. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes, until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Leave the mixed material to stand for 10 min and briefly remix without addition of water. Manual mixing is allowed for small batch quantities and mix for approx. 1-2 min or when homogenous mix is achieved.
When required add 0.5 Ltr of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25 kg bag or 30 ml of Vetonit Bond 2 per 1.5 kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as above.
Mixed material must be used within 2 hours.
Do not add water once the mixed filler mortar start to stiffen or harden.
Application
Vetonit Crack Filler is generally applied in two coats for wide and deeper cracks.
Apply Vetonit Crack Filler to the substrate by pressing the filler firmly into the cracks using flat putty trowel.
Use Vetonit Joint Tape to cover the treated surface after filling the cracks. Use Vetonit Bond 2 for fixing tape for better adhesion.
Use alkali resistant paints & coatings as a final decorative finishes.
Curing
During hot and dry conditions, Vetonit Crack Filler is cured by spraying water on the treated surfaces every 8-12 hours for minimum of 2 days.
Cleaning
All tools should be cleaned immediately after finishing by water. Hardened materials can be cleaned mechanically.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Prior to Vetonit Crack Filler application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water and allow to become damp at the time of application.
Vetonit Crack Filler is highly alkaline therefore avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. Any skin contact should be wash with soap & water. In case of eyes irritation, immediately wash with copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advise.
Vetonit Crack Filler is non-flammable.
