Multi-purpose bonding agent & admixture
Ready Mix Bond is a single component acrylic based, bonding agent for cementitious materials. It is a water based, specially formulated to enhance bonding properties as well as improve mechanical strengths of plaster mixes when incorporated with mixing water. Ready Mix Bond also reduces shrinkage cracks during early stages of cement hardening by minimizing surface water loss in fresh applied mixes. Ready Mix Bond is ideal for use with variety of sand/ cement based mixes. Ready Mix Bond can be diluted on site with potable water for desired applications.
Ready Mix Bond is supplied in 20 liters Containers, Coverage: 8 -10 m²/Ltr as bonding agent
Original sealed container of Ready Mix Bond has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 25ºC.
Ready Mix Bond is non-flammable.
Ready Mix Bond has tendency of soft settlement on storage and therefore it is recommended to mix the material in same container prior to use.
Follow the dilution ratio required for each type of premixed mortar.
Add 3 parts of Ready Mix Bond with 1 part of water. Mix thoroughly to obtain uniform consistency liquid. Add the diluted Ready Mix Bond to pre-blended sand/cement plaster, mortar, or other dry mixes. Mix for 3-4 minutes using mechanical mixer at low speed.
Let the mixture stand for 10 min and mix again briefly to achieve homogeneous lump free mixture.
As Bonding Agent
As a bonding agent, Ready Mix Bond is used without dilution. Apply Ready Mix Bond using brush or spray directly onto substrate. If using hand pump, spray at a rate of 8-10 m2/litre.
immediately, while bonding agent is still wet follow by applying plaster, render, mortars or joint tapes etc.
Note: Ready Mix Bond should remain tacky when applying top coat finishes.
Clean all surfaces and remove any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae. Roughen the surfaces, remove any laitence and expose aggregate by light scabbling or grit-blasting.
Ready Mix Bond is irritant and harmful therefore avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. In case of contact with eyes, clean immediately with plenty of clean cold water and seek medical advise.
Ensure adequate ventilation when using the material and avoid inhalation of vapours.
